This Privacy Policy explains how PickBazaar collects, processes, protects, and manages data for merchant partners, shop managers, and sellers utilizing the PickBazaar Seller Partner App and merchant management systems.

1. Merchant & Business Information Collected

To enable store creation, product listing, order processing, and vendor payouts, we collect:

• Owner / Representative Details: Full name, authorized signatory contact details, verified business mobile number, and email address.
• Store & Business Entity Data: Store trade name, legal entity name, store description, categories of items sold, store banners, and logos.
• Physical Store Location: Exact physical address, GPS coordinates, landmarks, and operational hours to enable pickup by delivery partners and hyper-local customer discovery.
• Statutory & Identity Verification: GSTIN registration certificate, PAN details, FSSAI food safety license (where applicable for consumable products), and business KYC documents.
• Financial & Settlement Data: Bank account number, IFSC code, and account holder name to deposit daily/weekly earnings from fulfilled orders.
• Product Inventory Data: Product titles, stock quantities, descriptions, pricing, promotional discounts, and product images.

2. Device Permissions Required by the Seller App

• Camera Permission: Used when a merchant takes live photos of newly added grocery items, packages, or store verification documents directly within the app.
• Photos & Gallery Storage: Used to select and upload existing high-resolution product photos, promotional banners, and verification licenses from device storage.
• Foreground Location: Used during initial store registration to accurately pin your store's pickup location on Google Maps.
• Notifications: Required to alert store staff instantly when an urgent customer order is received or needs immediate dispatch.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

• To establish, verify, and authenticate merchant partner onboarding.
• To publish your store and catalog to customers situated within your active delivery radius.
• To calculate commissions, delivery charges, gross merchandise value (GMV), and process direct bank payouts.
• To generate GST-compliant tax invoices and maintain statutory records.
• To detect fraud, catalog tampering, or regulatory violations.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Merchant store name, store address, operating hours, and product catalog are made publicly visible to PickBazaar customers. We share necessary operational data only with:

• Delivery Riders: Store pickup address and vendor phone number to collect customer orders.
• Banking & Payment Partners: Escrow/settlement partners for direct bank transfers of seller dues.
• Government Tax Authorities: Mandatory GST/TCS reporting as governed by Indian taxation laws.

5. Merchant Account Deletion & Data Retention

Merchants wishing to delist their store and purge their seller accounts may submit an official deletion request via our Account Deletion Page or email support@pickbazaar.co. Note that completed transaction registers, tax invoices, and payout ledgers are retained for the statutory period mandated under the Companies Act and GST laws.
